Signs two things that I choose from all the things that come up in my memory 1. I spent my early life in village and it is almost a city now. I only knew signs in the school building (Lot of them I wrote the English letters) The bazars did not have signs we all knew as Fulanay the hatti So coming to Lahore I was struck by the variety of all kinds of signs (Anarkali, for instance) 2. After Partition there was a tendency to change lot of signs one on Muzang road in Lahore a barber shop called itself Islah-e-gaisoo
