Brain Death was recognized in a conference of Ulama from all over the Muslim world about brain death acceptance and allowing organ harvesting for transplantation as early as Oct. 1976 in Amman Jordan ( I am not familiar with all details though). The other thing is that they argue, it should be free gift and no buy-sell program. In situations where people will not come out with donations some enticement like payment (in individual cases--not as a rule) may be acceptable-for life is held sacred.
Secondly when you make a free gift Allah SWT rewards you for this act of charity. May Allah keep all of us on the right path.
