I was advised years ago - and it helped me always.
If someone is going through any kind of grief, the best thing to say: "I am not sure if I can share your grief as my words may not heal everything, but I AM HERE for anything you need".
Is say ziyada dilasa aur kuch bhi nahi - ke kisi ko ye yaqeen ho ke - aap waqt pe mojoud the
- werna aik insaan to dusre insaan ke liye patta bhi nahi hila sakta

Mystic, I am visiting your blog on the first of Ramadan so Ramadan Mubarak
Yes this note of I AM HERE seems good. I have had a death in my family just last week and still recovering from the sad news from Pakistan Son of my older brother last I met him last year when I visited Lahore in February I had to cut short and fly back in hurry as COVIDization set in
I had written a blog years ago that we are all in our departure lounges as one of my friends expired sitting in departure lounge of Dubai to board his flight back to Chicago
Ramdhan Mubarak.
I am recovering from a suicide of a very close physician friend. For some small reason, he lost his license and was unable to take that shock. Indeed, we all are in the departure lounge.
(I lost 3 family members - Mamu and 2 brothers-in-law to COVID).
