At the twilight time, when that lean young man hugged his father and said: "I know I have to go all alone, on this long and unknown road of life but I will miss you daddy". His daddy felt pain of those words right through his heart.

Born again !

He had a wrecking train accident and everybody thought he is dead. His sister took his body to hospital where he was revived back to life by devoted doctors and amazing new technologies. He came home. When I met him, he was like nothing ever happened to him but was calm and strangely peaceful.

I just asked him a casual question: "to tumhari aankh kub khuli?" (when did you wakeup?)

He replied: "jub main ne apni galtion ka aetraff ker liya" (when I accepted my mistakes)

Unfulfilled Love

Being from small rural town, it was hard for me to adjust in a big city hospital where I went for my medical training. He was my senior fellow. I survived and probably graduated because of his extreme support and help. We clicked from very first day. He was a bizarre person, who use to sit at nursing counter all night in case any patient might need help. He just use to take small breaks in between to smoke. Before starting training, he was a chain smoker but had to curtail down as smoking was not allowed in hospital. All women around lusted him and he was equally popular from arrogant surgeons to simple janitors. His prsonality was like butter - neither liquid nor solid, salty and full of energy.

We graduated and parted away only to meet after 3 years. We spend all night roaming Chicago downtown in my navy blue Ford mustang. He asked me to driveby Congress hotel, where he had goodbye kiss from his lost love years ago. (Jis se usne apni roh se bhi barh ke muhabbat ki). She squeezed him for 2 full nights before saying good bye forever. Now I knew why he was like butter - in a state somewhere between life and death.

Story of 3 women

Nina is married since last 7 years and unable to concieve despite religiously doing everything told by her doctor at infertility clinic and contacting all 'babas' from Zee-TV. She thinks God is only cruel to her.
