Daddy!!

When that lean young man hugged his father at the twilight, he said: "I know I have to go all alone on this long and unknown road of life, but I will miss you, Daddy."

His daddy felt the pain of those words right through his heart.

Born again

He had a wrecking train accident, and everybody thought he was dead. His sister took his body to the hospital, where devoted doctors and unique new technologies revived him back to life. He came home. When I met him, he was calm and strangely peaceful, like nothing had ever happened to him.

I just asked him a simple question: "to tumhari aankh kab khuli?" (when did you wake up?)

He replied: "jab main ne apni galtion ka aetraff ker liya" (when I accepted my mistakes)

SIGNS ARE EVERYWHERE

It's true and bizarre that every person gets to serve with "signs" to tackle everyday issues. It may come as a sentence from a friend or something written on the back of a truck or a talk show on the radio....but it's there....watch out.....SIGNS ARE EVERYWHERE.

Secrets of your child

Sometimes it's worth it to conceal your child's misbehavior from your spouse !!

Opposite reactions from both parents may leave the child more confused and on the path of more mischievousness. Sometimes it's more worthwhile to let it go with few instructions.

3 Rules at work

Always remember three rules in your professional work

1. Keep your eyes open

2. Keep your ears open.

3. Keep your mouth shut.

Gossip travels faster than light, except it is a Boomerang.

Adhura Love

As an immigrant, adjusting to a big city hospital where I went for my medical training was hard. He was my senior fellow. I survived and graduated due to the courtesy of his extreme support. We clicked from the very first day. He was a bizarre person. He used to sit at the nursing counter all night if a patient needed help. He only took small breaks in between to smoke. He was a chain smoker but cut down on cigarettes due to work. All women around lusted him, and he was equally popular, from arrogant surgeons to simple janitors. His personality was like butter - neither liquid nor solid, salty and energetic.

Woh sub ka tha magar kisi ka na tha

We graduated, parted, and met after three years. We spent all night roaming Chicago downtown in my navy blue Ford Mustang. He asked me to drive by the Congress Hotel, where he had a goodbye kiss from his lost love - years ago.

Jis se usne apni roh se bhi barh ke muhabbat ki

He told me; she squeezed me up to my last drop that night before planting a shocking goodbye kiss. It explained his butter-like personality - in a state somewhere between life and death.

Woh sub ke liye mojud tha magar wahan na tha

Story of 3 women

Nina has been married for the last seven years. Still, she cannot conceive despite religiously doing everything from the doctor's advice at the infertility clinic to consulting 'babas' on Zee-TV ads. She thinks God is only cruel to her.

Rina conceived within the first year of marriage. Her kid turned out to be a below-average child. He remained in the 5th percentile since birth. He has Asthma. He quickly gets bullied by other kids at school. He is not good at sports. He is seeing a psychiatrist for possible depression. She thinks God is only cruel to her.

Mina has a beautiful daughter—no significant issues and growing at the 50th percentile. But Mina is unhappy as her friends' kids seem more healthy, outgoing, and intelligent. She thinks God is only cruel to her.

Time Machine

I asked her: "Are you married?"

She replied: "I was married in 2024 but returned in 2004 to fix some of my mistakes" !!!!
