Beta (A Picture)
Photo from Yannis Kontos for Polaris Images is First place, Contemporary Issues Singles. A boy helps his father to dress in Sierra Leone. (I didn't see dad's missing arms till I uploaded image).
i've seen both these pictures before. This one with the son helping his father, its very subtle. I focused first on just the boy and the father. And I couldnt understand the expression on the father's face. Then my eyes travelled down and I realized this man had no arms. *sigh* I couldnt help but weep.. sometimes you think of the sadness in the world and you are truly shamed that you with two arms, legs, health, and a home dare shed a tear of any unfairness in life..... people like the father above... and below.. and their children.. are examples of silent heros. They are brave because they choose to wake up each day and try to live their lives when it is so very difficult.

Atleast you have talent of expression. I was just speechless.
I went into 'sajda' to say 'shukar' to my lord for all his blessings.
We just live in our world of 4 walls. We have no clue, how people in the world surviving on day to day basis.
