I don't think anyone knows for sure but it is said that Aqlima was a sister of Habil and Qabil (Cain and Abel), and use to see fighting them from the mount. Fehmida Riaz described the agony of a woman in this beautiful poetry.

She was not mother but sister of Habil-Qabil Poem seems to suggest a feministic thought but God mentions her brothers for a different reason and if she is not mentioned by Him she is not ignored. After all her mother has been mentioned. It is human misunderstanding that Allah has mentioned men more than women but when there is importand matter he mentions both We just discussed Aya number 35 of sura 33 Al-Ahzab where 10 men and women have been mentioned who will get a reward. This whole sura actually intrigues me much more than just this aya.
Thank you uncle :: let me correct...
