Jub log kehte hain ke Hazrat Ibrahim ke liye aag gul-o-gulzar ban gai thi to mujhe nahi lagta ke aag sach much main bujh gai ho gi - bulke mera khayal hai ke Hazrat Ibrahim Allah ke ishq main is qadar doob chuke the ke - namrud ki sulgaii us aag ki tapish ka unhe aehsas hi nahi hua....
Pata nahi kiun mujhe aesa lagta hai

Yes you are right because Allah said to the fire
"Qulna Ya naaro kooni bardan-wa-salaman ála Ibraahim" (Sura 21, Aya 69)
(We said, O fire be thou cool and (means of) safety for Ibraahim)
That is to say fire did keep burning but it lost its power of heating and burning when touching Ibraahim Alihissalam.
It is said that he was approached by the Angel "shall I destroy the fire before you jump in?" He said
The One for whom I am accepting the fire does He not know that? Then why should I try something other than His wish?
Why Allah calls Ibraahim Khalil.
