Jameel Sahab ka bachha aur kutta

Jameel sahab se meri mulaqat Chicago ki Devon street ke mashoor dhabe 'Gareeb Nawaz' pe hui thi. Lijye un ki bipta un ki zabani suniye

"Mere 3 bachhe the magar mazeed aulad ki khawish is qadar shadeed thi ke hum mian biwi ki umar 45 ke lag bhag hone ke bawajood -  aur doctors ke manaa kerne ke bawajood - aur pregnancy ke shuru main amniocentesis pe ye sabit ho jaane ke bawajood ke - bachha 'down syndrome' hai -  hum ne us ko is duniya main aane diya.

Us ki paidaish ke saath hi hum ne -us bachhe ke liye - ghar main aik kutta bhi paal liya

Phir aik ajeeb waqiya hona shuru ho gaya - ke -  mera bachha jis poori raat rota rehta aur ghar ka kutta poori raat bhonkta rehta - us ke dusre din mohalle main koi maut waqiyaa ho jaati. Har teesre, choThe mahine ye aik ajeeb saanihaa ho jaata.

Pakistan main meri custom ki naukri thi - Rishwat ki kamaii khub aati thi - roope paise ki rawani thi

Phir jis din main ne sab se baRi rishwat li - aur mehngi motor car ghar le ker aaya- us raat bhi kutte ke bhonke aur mere bachhe ke rone ka waqiya poori raat huwa.

Jis din mere bete ko main ne jaali visa pe europe bheja - us raat bhi yahi huwa
Phir jis raat (rishwat ke paison se) meri beti ki shadi main ne dhoom dhaam se ki - - aesa hi huwa

Phir  aik raat sirf mera kutta bhonkta raha - aur us raat mera wahi sab se chota bachha -  faut ho gaya

- Aur phir jis din main saari daulat le ker Pakistan se rawana huwa - poori raat kutta bhonk bhonk ke be-haal ho gaya

(aage ki kahani ye ke - america aa ker saari daulat barbaad ho gai - beta europe ki jail main hai - aur beti ki talaq ho gai - Aur aik beta yahan drugs main paR gaya)

------------- Aaj itne bars guzrne ka baad ye baat samjh aayi

'log kehte hain masoom bachoN aur kutton ko maut ke farishte nazar aate hain. Aesa zaroor hota ho ga - magar jab insaan apne har bure amal se aahista aahista andar mar raha hota hai - tab bhi masoom bachhe aur us ke paaltu janwar (pets) use aehsaas dilate rehte hain'

Kiya tum ne kabhi kutta paala hai?"

Footnote: Watched Indian movie "Mom" - Nawazuddin Siddiqui again proved himself as one of the most versatile actor in Bollywood. Adnan Siddqui looks graceful  - and yes Siri Devi is still pretty and gorgeous :)

Apkay Jeeml sahib ki maloomat ghalat hai, Kutton ko farishtay nahi Shaitan nazar ata hai , bechara shayed iss waja say bhonkta ho ga .Aur Rahi bat bachon ki wo bhi kahin sabit nahi kah bachay farishtay dekh saktay hain.
No human can actually see them in their actual forms . Allah created man from dust, He created the jinn from fire and He created the angels from light. It is proven by the definitive texts that it is not possible for humans to see the jinn unless they appear in a different form, such as in the form of humans and animals. The angels cannot be seen in their original form by most people unless they appear in human form. This is proven in the Quran and saheeh sunnah (authentic prophetic teachings). If an angel appears in human form, it is possible for everyone to see him and there is no difference between males and females, or old and young.

Jameel sahib k sath hamdardi hai par unko kahin " ainna sufi na bun Allah kolon mafi mang lawo " O bara ghafoor tay Rahim way :)

Nahi meinay kutta kabhi nahi palay aur na he palnay ka shouq hai :)aur ye jo goray kuttay goad mein lay k baithay huay hotay hain aur apnay mun chatwaa rahay hotay hain issko dekh kah tou aur bhi karahiyat hoti hai .

Books n S: It's OK. Any kind of post-mortem is well come. I don't interpret things. I just write stories of people as they describe and interpret for themselves.

Bilkul, hum ne bhi ghar me kutta paala hua hai. Ghar mem mummy ke lakh mana karne ke bawajood main aur mera bhai use zabardasti le aaye (yeh alag baat hai ki ab uski dekhbhaal ka sara zimma mummy ke hath me hi hai!)

Khair woh kabhi roya to nahiN lekin haaN woh logoN ki emotions paRh leta hai. Agar bahar ka koi banda us'se darr raha hai to woh jaan jayega aur phir use aur darayega! Agar koi udaas hai, to bhi usko pata chal jata hai. Phir woh jeebh se chat ke ya duum hila ke apne pyar ka izhaar karega. Baqi usme koi aur sixth sense nahin dikhti!!

Rote hue use 2-3 baar hi suna aur woh bhi tab jab hum sab use ghar me akela chhoR ke shadi/byaah attend karne ja rahe the....!

One of my friend used to argue that it's better to have cats as pets than dogs!

Cats won't love you unconditionally (unlike dogs) and you have to earn her love and trust. Moreover it's cringe-worthy to even entertain a thought of having someone in your life -- who has no independent life and who will obey and follow you like a slave.

... though personally (I can't give reason for that) I like dogs much more than cats!

Books and Stilletos saheb nay sahih likh diya hay You cannot see angels But what is bad and what is good can be sensed by human beings and if not all by some animals. About dogs I would call that "sensing" as sixth sense
I have done a lot of hadeeth and Quran study of dogs and at one time ISNA president or ex president (The lady I forget her name even though I liked her) wrote he thoughts about dogs and Muslim attitudes. AShaab-eKahaf and their dog all were affected by the miracle of Allah because the dog was with them. there is persian verse
پسر نوح با بداں بنشست خاندان نبوتش گم شد
سگ اصحاب کہف روزے چندپئے نیکاں بگرفت آدم شد
(Son of Nooh AS went with bad people he lost the prophet-hood family. Th dog of people of the cave went with them for some time became Adam -- meaning that he was treated by Allah the same way as those people. Ahadeeth are poorly explained by writers and the one most well-known that The angel Gibraeel did not enter the house of the prophet saying these was a dog does not make me feel comfortable because why would angels have feelings like that they are devoid of bad or good feelings or acting upon them They do what Allah tells them to The prophet SAWS was Rahmatan=lilAalameen that includes animals - all of them.
That is just very very brief thought and I am writing fully aware of the fact that I am totally unqualified to make such comments about any hadeeth and hope to be forgiven by the prophet, the narraters of the hadeeth and Allah SWT To decalre I AM NOT MUNKER of HADETTH

Uncle bsc...Mein sahiba hon and big fan of you too :)

I think this Hadith is narrated by Aisha (R.A) and is in Sahih Muslim about Gabriel not entering the house due to a pic of birds on a curtain and on another occasion a puppy under the bed - Dogs are not hated but are considered Najs .They are allowed and can be kept outside the house for the purposes of guarding the property/Hunting animals. It is NOT haraam to touch a dog or any other animal. It is haraam to participate in any blood “sport,” like dog fighting and trophy hunting. If the saliva of a dog touches you or any part of your clothing, then it is required of you to wash the body part touched and the item of clothing touched by the dog’s mouth or snout in order to pray.

My understanding of dogs being disliked inside the house is based on this Paakezgi / purity concept ( where you have to go through cleaning process in order to pray ) .
The other thing I read in narrations was that shaitan usually appears in shape of dogs and snakes so maybe that's a factor too Only Allah knows...Other than that Quran mentions the Ashab- e kahaf dog like you said in your reply already was honored.

I think its just the way we look at the text (Hadith) and interpret it for ourselves .

B&S, you have given additional info yes and it is true about najas
but Najas for human beings does that mean for angels also? secondly yes the puppy was under the bed (without the knowledge of the prophet) but the angel did not come into the house for three days!!!
That is my problem and I feel something is missing and yes I am not doubting the hadeeth it is a saheeh one. Could there be, in recording some word missed? I am only saying that as I do not have complete satisfaction. I have come across some other hadeeth (Medically related)with a very slight word change in Muslim as compared to Bokhari and the interpretation has become confusing
I do appreciate your giving further information which I missed, for the sake of brevity. I was intrigued when I first learned that saliva of the dog is najas and external body touching your clothes or body parts is not

Uncle I typed a long reply and it didn’t post will try to type it tomorrow again ..in sha Allah !

Uncle ..this is my understanding only and you may disagree with it ... Angels carryout Allah’s commands as is they dont have the free will to pick and choose which tasks they can do or can’t do ... and we know Prophet only had 23 yrs to deliver this complete message of Islam to us and we also know the hadith ( saheeh) ones are sayings of Prophet to teach us ( humanity) something about our Deen . So keeping this in mind , I understand it like ....this was a teaching moment for Prophet saw from Allah (and for us through prophet) ..Jibreel was told not to enter the house (curtain with birds on it and puppy under the bed ) angel could have come from the other side of the house too if curtain is on the front of the house ...right ? Farishta to kahin say bhi asakta tha ...front door wasn’t the only choice for an angel ... roof top , back side any other side but he was told NOT to enter the house while curtain with pics was hanging as a teaching moment for Prophet ( and humanity) and same thing for the puppy under the bed . Don’t think they are afraid of dogs or pictures they are merely following Allah’s orders . They are just NOT allowed to do so . Because when I read this hadith initially I was hmmm so if one keeps a dog at home recording angels will not be on the shoulders rather outside the house and same for mulk ul maut ... :) cant come in ...... but then I found out that the words “the angels do not enter” mean: the angels of mercy and blessings not the recording angels or the Angels of death... I was like oh man ! Hehehehee

These books like Bokhari ,muslim and sunan ibn majaa are my go to books for hadith texts but am not a muhadiss who can verify the authenticity of these translations of these hadith books . You maybe very right about it’s missing something?Asthese books are in English and so much is lost in translations you know ....I can’t read Arabic hadith books yet working on learning quranic Arabic so maybe one day I can actually do that ...

Read nahi understand cant understand Arabic ....can read it 😇

Books& s. You have given me something extra to think about. and makes sense about angels not entering house.
But I am actually talking about Arabic words NOT English translations. I understand words with english translation but I did have some Arabic rudimentary lessons before joining medical college. Also Urdu and Arabic do have some similarities. JazkAllahu khairan I learnt something from you

Hi thanks for the story mystic-soul :-) Aisi pheeki pheeki kahaniyaaN hi zyada asar daar hoti hain...

I remember listening to a talk where the speaker said that we take lot of nonverbal cues by just looking into others' eyes (As an illustration, he showed this painting: "Unexpected Visitor": https://uploads5.wikiart.org/images/ilya-repin/unexpected-visitors-1888.jpg )

Never consciously looked into dog's eyes though!!

-----

I have a request. It will be great if you could share your experience with your pet dog and parrot. :-)
