Exactly My thoughts bsc ... I hate when people compare some "sift" of a man with Allah lot of people use it to justify A man's position in a woman's life or just in Islam as its comparable to God ...somehow... who created this very Man ...Its NOT !
Yes , A man Has a distinct position given to him By Allah ( he is the Qawwam over the woman ) But saying Rab ki tarah us k DNA Main bhi ....this is Shirk plain and simple , as for Allah ( there is no DNA attached to Rab for God's sake )He is AHAD read Ikhalas again and say -- Astaghfirullah !

several verses of the Holy Quran mention some physical features of Allah. Al-Tabari mentioned that the tradition of early Muslim scholars is to mention these physical features of God, as described in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah without trying to equate them with the physical features of humans. Here are some of them:
First, Allah, Praise to Him in His Highness, has a Face, which illuminates (gives light to) the Throne, as interpreted by scholars, in Ayatul Kursi (The Verse of the Chair). Believers direct their prayers and good deeds to the Face of Allah, as in verses 2: 115, 2: 272, 30: 38, 30: 39, and 76: 9 of the Holy Quran, Hand of Allah , as in Ale Imran aya 26 , 73 and Surah Mulk it starts with the aya that has mention of it and many other places in Quran you will find this Hand of ALLAH , then he is the Sami and Baseer ( like in Taha Allah said, I am with you I hear and see )
Finally, The human being has a face, eyes, ears, hands, and feet like his/her Creator, who created humans in the best image, as stated in Verse 4 of Surat Al-Teen (Chapter 95).
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ (التين ، 95: 4).
Laqad khalaqnal insana, fee a'hsani taqweemin (Al-Teen, 95: 4).
Surely We created the human (being) in the Best Image (Al-Teen, 95: 4).
Al-Tabari, Ibn Katheer, and Al-Siyouti interpreted the last word of the verse, "Taqweem," as "Soorah," the accurate translation of which is "image." Al-Qurtubi also interpreted it as image but added that Allah, Praise to Him in His Highness, created human beings on His Image, the Best Image. They have face, eyes, ears, hands, and feet, as He has. They also have some of His traits, which are blown into them from His Spirit, such as justice, mercy, and compassion. He distinguished them from His other creations on Earth by walking upright, speaking, knowing right and wrong, and having the capability to choose between them.
I listened to Dr.Israr Ahmed'slecture about Types of shirk and that just really opened my eyes . I never imagined that we have been saying so many shirkiya words in our daily lives without thinking twice about them ..It shook me to the core ,and now when I read something or hear something like this I just want to make sure the person knows that its wrong so they can correct themselves and we don't get in any sort of trouble with Allah !It angers Allah so much when Christians call Jesus son of God( Naaouzbillah )I wouldn't want a fellow muslim ( I think you are muslim ) to be part of Allah's anger in anyway !May ALLAH give us Allah give us Guidance and forgive our shortcomings ! Ameen !

Books n S: Dr. Israar Ahmad was one heck of a liberal person. Though I don't agree with his many inferences and assessments - but have huge respect for him.

because I always found him very conservative on most subjects ...wohi apni apni interpretation ki baat hai ..wasiey Agar Dr. Israar liberal hain tou Ghamdi tou hippie huay ? LOL
I disagree with Ghamdi on so many things that my husband thinks I genuinely hate that guy ! hahaahahaha I don't though just disagree with his inferences :)
The problem I found with Ghamdi sahib is that: sometimes he makes interpretations just to make his audience happy - like he has been taken hostage by his audience. Many of his interpretation is very far-fetched just to prove that every interpretation is flexible.
Dr. Israr always speaks his mind. Zia initially promoted him, but later let him go as he refused to say things as desired by army man.I have huge respect for him for that.
