Interesting discussion. I will take the liberty of pointing out a few facts here.
Islam says, dont advertise your acts of sin. Apparently this friend of yours is considered, as u pointed out, a religious person. If he tells his tales of sin in a mehfil like that, someone who has never thought of actually commiting that sin will be tempted, if that pious person has done that, no big deal, I can try that too.
Its sad to see how our morals have deteriorated and standards have changed. Its Western, mainly non-muslim society sexual relations outside marriage is a norm. but if a middle aged man legally marries an adult albeit young woman, it is considered a 'big gunnah' as u so labelled it in one of your previous posts. Was it because he was a mullah and ur friend is 'highly educated and wealthy doctor'?
Last but not the least, lets not forget a very important teaching of Quran, 'naiki ki taleem do, burayi sai mana'a karo, aur jahilon sai munh phair lo'. We as muslims are duty bound to urge others to do good deeds but more importantly dissaude them from committing sins. If we ignore this important duty our own good deeds become meaningless.

I agree with you what you said. But sometime ppl. say things and you listen..What he did, it his 'amal' I hope Allah grant him neki.
But try not to project things in a promotional manner, when u write some thing and post it it's public learn to take criticism instead of justifying the way u r reply in all previous threads is really interesting .....stay correct that gathering of urs was of health care professionals who probably have no DR. status in Jurisdiction where it was held.

Hey guys, leave the blogger be. He has a fixation with prostitutes and everything related to illicit sex. This is called SUBLIMATION in psychology, a mature defence mechanism, where a person channels his own unacceptable desires into socially acceptable direction like art, literature etc. He either desires to do that himself or wants to express his own actions but does that as a third person.
So no amount of lectures on morality or what is right and wrong is going to help here, so save your energies please for a better cause.
